ColAAb at LABÓ MILAN 2024

For the upcoming 2024 edition of LABÓ in Milan, ColAAb is delighted to present an immersive installation by artist ‌Angelika Markul from April 14 to 18.

The solo exhibition space stands as an invitation to step into the artist’s world, where her ColAAb functional art seamlessly integrates with her broader body of work, from video excerpts to sculptures, collectible furniture and murals.

As part of ColAAb's showcase, Angelika Markul’s table "Tchouri" will be on display -born from her passion for design and inspired by the enigmatic comet Tchouri. In her film "Mémoire des glaciers (2019)," Markul unveils the mysteries of this celestial body, speculated to hold the seeds of life on Earth.

Markul's body of work not only delves into the realms of art and science but also prompts profound reflections on our connection with nature, the cosmos, and time itself. With a keen eye for storytelling, she navigates through ancient landscapes, vanished civilizations, and post-disaster territories, offering poignant insights into the human condition.
